Sunday, July 26th, 2009Up at 4:30 am, on the road at 6 am (but we found a Dunkin’ in Phoenix! Yay!), on the road until 1 am.
But wait, we lost 2 hours because of changing time zones, and we only stopped for gas/bathroom breaks (6 stops, 35.2975 gallons of gas), and we switched driving detail each time we stopped, and we had a sandwich for lunch AND dinner, and…
And I have no idea why I’m not in bed yet. Almost 1200 miles today (more than 750 in Texas alone!), and 17 hours in the car. Good night. Or good morning. I can’t tell…

All right, it’s official. The trip has begun and we’re on our way to Boston. Karyn’s driving (so of course, it’s raining) and I’m typing (did I mention we got wireless broadband internet for the summer?).
